Morph
Morph is building crypto technology that doesn’t feel like crypto at all. Faster, friendlier, and closer to the apps people already use every day. Fresh off their brand refresh, they asked us to create merch that people would actually wear, not just stuff in a drawer.
The goal was bigger than free T-shirts. Morph needed pieces that captured their energy — playful, smart, and ready for anything — while giving the global team something to rally around at upcoming events. They needed gear that makes you part of something special without needing to shout about it.
We pulled references from streetwear, sticker culture, and the lo-fi spirit of early internet art. Our first attempts pushed hard into that playfulness with color spectrums, new typography, and reimagined versions of their 3D mascot. But in searching for the edge, we started drifting from the center.
So we recalibrated. We traded hand-drawn illustrations for halftone versions of their original renders, anchoring everything in familiar territory. We pulled the palette tighter around their signature green, using flashes of yellow, pink, and blue as accents instead of leads. We kept Morphy as a central character, but treated him more like an emblem than a mascot, using pixelation and bitmap treatments to lean into developer-native textures. Typography stayed flexible, using heavy sans-serifs and pixel fonts where it made sense, without forcing an aesthetic just for the sake of it.
The final collection speaks Morph's language fluently. From pixelated "Global Team" long sleeves to bitmapped koala totes, each piece carries a fragment of the world they're building — one that's fast, open, and a little bit mischievous.
